WE WANT TO HELP OUR WATERWAYS

Originally founded in 1985, Turtle Beach Clothing has been revived and reimagined from the ground up. We are passionate about our environment and wish to inspire those around us to become more environmentally conscious.

Who We Are

Turtle Beach Clothing is a clothing company located in Kenora, Ontario. The brand was originally founded in 1985 and ran until the late 1990s. Bright colours, neons and tie-dyes were the line's specialty, competing with the likes of Chip & Pepper.

Many customers wished for Turtle Beach to return, and we delivered! Turtle Beach officially relaunched its brand in August 2020.

What We Do

We want to help our environment. We've partnered with the Lake of the Woods District Stewardship Association to assist in their efforts to preserve the Lake of the Woods region for generations to come.

Our first project with this organization is a boat wash station, aiming to help reduce the number of invasive species entering the lake via hitch hiking.

Why help our lakes?

Lakes are important for the ecosystem and overall health of the earth. Keeping them clean not only benefits humans, but the wildlife in and around them as well.
Healthy lakes provide numerous environmental benefits

Clean waterways and lakes help promote a strong economy and improve our quality of life.

Proper Lake Function is Important

Proper function eases the impact of floods and droughts. The large bodies of water that are stored are released during shortages and help replenish lost groundwater.

Contamination in the lakes leads to contaminated groundwater.

Lakes Provide Recreational Opportunities, Among other Necessities

Lakes can provide us with prime opportunities for recreation, tourism, and cottage or residential living.  They are also respected by many people for their historical and traditional values and may be a source of raw drinking water for a municipality.  Lakes can also be used as a water supply for industry and an irrigation source for agriculture.
